You are REQUIRED to enroll in my Modified Mastering Biology course, which is a website that contains assignments for you to complete as part of this course. Enrolling in the course requires paid access to MyLab and Mastering. When you click on a link on the MyLab and Mastering page on Canvas, you will be given different options, each with a different price. Any option is okay to fulfill the minimum requirement of access the Mastering website to complete the required assignments. However, depending on which option you choose, you can also have access to the eText, you can purchase a hard copy if desired, etc. That choice is yours. Access to the eText is not expensive, and it allows you to search the eText for answers during the open-book Mastering assignments. If you prefer a hard copy, that is also just fine, and it's fine if you want to use any other general biology textbook. It's a personal preference. As long as you purchase access to Mastering, then you are all set as far as requirements are concerned.

If you don't already have access to Mastering Biology, then you will need to purchase access first. In either case, start by logging on to Canvas and choosing your BIO156 course. Within the Canvas course, choose the MyLab and Mastering link, then use links on that page to enroll in my course. After enrolling, you will use Canvas to access the Mastering course throughout the term. DO NOT TRY ANY OTHER METHOD OF ENROLLING IN MY MASTERING COURSE.

Please enroll in the required Mastering course (using Canvas) immediately. It is not possible to pass the course without enrolling.
